Guidance For Carers In Managing The Finances Of Someone With Incapacity
The Mental Welfare Commission Scotland has produced a guide to managing the finances of an adult with incapacity. This has been written in partnership with the Office for the Public Guardian (OPG) due to concerns about the welfare impact on those who lack the capacity to manage their own finances. The Guide entitled 'Money Matters' offers guidance on what carers and professionals can do to help. The report can be found at http://www.mwcscot.org.uk/nmsruntime/saveasdialog.asp?lID=1486&sID=742. Alternatively, contact Amy at the Carers Centre for paper copy.
